Application Areas

The ECCO products have for 75 years been used by professional painters in E65 several different of industrial application areas. The ECCO spray guns and pumps are suitable for spraying and pumping almost all kinds of fluids, from paint and clear coat on cars and trucks to butter for crepes and glaze on cookies.

Automotive industry

The Automotive Industry, also named the Motor Vehicle Industry (MVI), manufactures cars, trucks and motorbikes. In these industries, examples can be found of practically all types of finishing applications.

Ceramic industry

Ecco Finishing has more than 75 years experience of supplying spray guns to the Saab ceramic industry. The Ecco guns are, thanks to their robust design, resistant to the extremely hard wear from the types of fluids sprayed in the ceramic industry.

Leather industry

Leather is sprayed before it is used for various types of products, like car seats, sofas and shoes. The purpose of the treatment is to make the leather shiny, smooth and maybe also coloured, but also to protect the skin from being damaged from dirt and water.

Wood industry

In the woodworking industry, both low and high pressure spray painting is used. The choice of method is very flexible and depends on paint type, requested output capacity and paint layer thickness but also what kind of method the painter is used to and personal preferences.

Plastic industry

More and more components fitted to exterior and interior parts of a modern car, truck or motorbike are made of plastic materials, and the quality demands for the finish of these parts are as high as for the actual car bodies. Ecco uses the same technology for spraying paint on plastic details as for spraying paint on cars.

Contractors

Contractors includes a high duty application where the purpose of the painting is both to protect the surface from the elements of nature and to improve the look of the product.

General industry

By choosing a method for wet paint application, the investment in a new paint shop will be lower than for an investment in a paint shop for another kind of painting method.

Food industry

In the food industry the ECCO low pressure and high pressure equipment are used for pumping and spraying water, sugar, solutions, oils and other liquids.
