About us

Ecco was created in 1931 in the Swedish town Skara by Erik Järnåker. ECCO is Latin and mean “see here” or “here you are” and ECCO has been the brand name of our products from the beginning of the company’s history. From 1948-1991 Ecco was a part of the Atlas Copco group, the Swedish manufacturer of air compressors and air power tools. Today the headquarters and the production plant of the Ecco Finishing group is situated in Skara, Sweden. The ECCO products are sold world-wide through subsidiaries, sales companies and other professional distributors.

The main customers for ECCO products are today, as always, professional painters in several different industrial areas. These customers demand high quality products to ensure a safe and reliable production with a high quality output. Today 75 years of know-how and innovation ensure a continual technical development of the ECCO products, giving Ecco an international reputation for performance and quality.
